VALENTINE CARD

Hiiiiiiiii
Those who are regular online on FB may be worrying "where is megha".Today I was very busy with many work.first was cook did'nt came ,so prepared lunch...that's okie ..not a big deal.Big deal was tomorrow is valentine day and I want ot make card for my hubby . I am not worried of hiding from him , as I daily craft this or that -so I know he will not interfere ,and I was right .My card was ready few minutes before and I am crazy to show .Difficult task with this card was , I want to incoperate most of the challenges live on blogs.
What all I did in this -wood grain design I learnt from kavitha HERE
I did stamping with versa mark and heat embossing...lovin it.
Added faux stitch with silver pen on tags.I t includes 14 tags 7of days before valentine and 7 of days after valentine .I n this ,I wrote positively all the days of after valentine ,which where of negative wording's normally.Quotes on tag are some searched by googling , some  wrote of my own for my dear hubby.
I f you notice ,the card is of unique style ,a gatefold alteration -its my idea ,never seen anywhere.Tieing of ribbon is also different and yess its also my idea
Freebie used is from ICR ,I oulined and doodled with silver pen..
Used heart punch
Used washi tape
Used tag rings from old earings
Ribbons from stash
Card stocks local purchase

And the secret is under neath is photo mat to place photo .

So starting up with challenges name

ICR-I took freebie from ICR

BGC-shabby chic love(i was fascinated by colour choice of snehal,so picked )

LULUPU-splash of colours and use your punch innovatively(tags are of many colours and the flower on top of card is used by MS scrll heart punch)

FOR THE LOVE OF CRAFTING-deep in the woods(wooden effect to the side flap and base of card is wood colour)

CATCHY CHALLENGES-use various stamps to make flower-stamped flower and heat embossed with silver powder

Posting pics of how ,i made flower from MS heart scroll punch
I took two paper ,red and silver .Cut the paper lace by MS heart scroll punch.Cut two small circles. One slight large circle fussly cut make a cone structure of it.

Now cut the shapes as shown from paper lace. You will require 11 red and 6 silver for one flower(Can use according to your wish)

Glue for petals to cone

Glue other four petals alternately

Add 3 silver petals as shown.

Add again 3 more silver petals alternately and then add 3 red petal on it .Decorate center with emblishment acc. to your wish.Hold a flower while in your palm cup to give it raised shape.
You can check out tute of  ISHA and ANITA also
So here is my card .hope you all will like my whole day effort.
