QUILLED SWASTIK

Hi friend
      Festive seasons on...enjoying every moment .Made quilled swastik -an auspicious symbol, prior in hindu religion .It can be seen in many religious painting ,as a part of that ,or alone can be painted on wall ,table ,des any place which are used in the way that our leg/foot do not touch that.Ita used as ornament also ,peoples make pendals ,bracelet of swastik design and wear it proudly.Its  made and used in each and every festiwals of hindus.Diwali the greatest festival is coming ,so I decided to make pairs of swastik to gift to my relative to decorate in their temples.I made this on mdf.

WALLET BOX -CARD

I made this wallet box card for tejal's birthday.Today nothing new ,i am just sharing ,the same card here. .. I am too excited , as i made this new type of card for first time and i am totally successful in making it.i learnt it from youtube.

Making special fold cards are  very difficult ,but i enjoy a lot and every now and then try to make them. But making card for talented crafter like tejal is too daring for me. but I am happy she liked it,and got flattered by all of my wonderful friends comment on hop post.Many of them told they have not seen this type of card.

For tejal's card ,I decided to take vintagetheme ,goes well with present atmosphere ,autumn colour /fall colours,reason the stuff all I have in ,goes well with vintage.yaa I remembered adding butterflies -they are tejals favorite.I also kept in mind -tejal said "she is also now a days on making of roses ,so I added roses to my wallet box. Inside of box ,I added a frame style note card with birthday sentiment .So its a dual purpose .You can use your wallet and frame note card will stand on your table ,as photo frame.You will better understand by some pics.Here are pics.

Supplies-brown cardstock,orange cardstock,heart shaped big rhinestones,small rhinestone-local purchase.

golden pattern paper and brown paper are from new cards (which came in my house as samples for diwali cards)

butterfly from jef butterfly punch,layered by orange carstock and did fussy cutting.

all dies from spellbinder.

CARD

Hi friends
Today I am sharing you my remade card .Hope you all will like it.Flowers used are handmade .I learnt from HERE.So do check out.Image is digi image.Distressed by tim holtz ink.Corners cut from washi tape.Hearts are handcut from velvet paperThe yellow dot in middle of flower is done by cone painting colours.

BIRTHDAY CARD

Hi friends,
Yesterday I was busy in learning wallet box from youtube and trying to make it.Probably ,I would have end up with it in night .........but , I got a birthday party invitation from close friend of my hubby,around 5:30 pm.I did'nt thought of making anything ,for a man ,but my hubby insisted me to make a card for his friend "the birthday boy".starting at 6 pm with no power and in invertor light ,I made a MALE card.Finished it somewhat around 6:45pm.but the sad thing is ,I did'nt took picture of it as, I was busy in household evening work and to get ready for party.I took photo in my friends house (party venue) via IPAD ...and the ipad give worst photos in room or low light ...does'nt have flash., but gives awesome pics in daylight .So here are those bad pictures.
